Studio

Turn a spoken meditation into a finished recording.

Bring your voice. The studio matches the music, builds the binaural journey, balances the mix and masters it. No audio engineering required.

Miindtraa Presets

Complete starting points. Each one sets the journey, the music level and the mix.

Step 1

Create Meditation

Name it, add the voice recording, and choose what plays underneath.

Voice

The recording of you guiding the meditation. WAV, MP3 or M4A.

Music

A bed under the voice. Upload your own, or generate one here.

Additional sound Optional

A second layer. A soundscape, a drone, a second bed.

Step 2

Generate Music

Describe the bed you want. The studio builds it to the exact length of your meditation.

Purpose

Mood

Instrumentation

Choose as many as you like. Vocals are off: generated beds are instrumental.

Generated here by the Miindtraa Tone Engine, which synthesises the bed on this device. Connected generation providers appear in this list when the studio is running against the production backend.
Step 3

Binaural Journey

Two tones, one in each ear. The difference between them is the journey, and it moves gradually across the meditation.

Journey

Frequency path

Drag any point to reshape it. The path stretches to fit whatever length your meditation is.

StartMiddleEnd
Best experienced with stereo headphones. The left ear holds the carrier tone; the right ear holds the carrier plus the journey frequency.

Movement in the ears

How the tone travels between left and right. Put headphones on before choosing.

Step 4

Space & Repeats

Repeat a short recording across the whole meditation, and place the words in three dimensions so they arrive from around the listener rather than from the middle of their head.

Start from

Headphones on. This renders a short sample with your current settings, so you can hear the effect before producing the whole meditation.

Repeat the recording

For affirmations and short scripts. One recording, repeated with a gap, until the meditation is full.

Three-dimensional voice

Each of these is a separate copy of your words. The original stays centred and clear underneath.

The orbit uses head-related placement, so the copy genuinely travels around the listener. It only works in headphones.

Double the layers

Play a track against itself, offset in time and nudged in speed, so one recording sounds like two takes.

Step 4

Smart Mix

Four layers, balanced automatically. Adjust only if you want to.

Music level

How present the bed is when you are not speaking.

Automatic

On by default. These are what make the result sound finished.

Nothing here needs changing for a good result.

Producing

Your meditation

This runs on your device. Longer meditations take longer.

    Step 6

    Preview

Listen with headphones. If something is not right, change it and render again.

    MP3 quality

320 keeps everything. 192 is indistinguishable for spoken meditation and half the size. 128 is the one to send on WhatsApp. All three take about the same time to encode.
